More Davicom DV-Mini remote site monitoring systems for Environment Canada !

Davicom announces the delivery of 11 more DV-Mini transmitter remote control systems to Bell Mobility for Environment Canada’s Weatheradio service.

Environment Canada's Weatheradio network is a nationwide network of radio stations broadcasting weather and environmental information 24 hours a day in both official languages. The information emanates directly from Environment Canada's storm prediction centers.

The DV-Mini units (formerly called MiniMAC2 units) are being used to remotely monitor, control and receive alarms from radio transmitters used at the Weatheradio sites. The acquisition of these DV-Mini units will allow the Weatheradio service to provide reliable operations and to reduce downtime and repair costs when a problem occurs at one of their 183 remote transmission sites.
