| DUAL AUDIO PRESENCE DETECTOR |
The DAPD-01 Dual Audio Presence Detector senses the presence of audio and activates alarms, or other equipment, if audio drops below a desired threshold for a user-determined period of time (from five seconds to five minutes). Independent monitoring and activation controls are provided for the left and right channels of a stereo signal, or the monitoring of two mono signals.

Broadcast Facilities
The DAPD-01 can be used for trouble-shooting and monitoring of stereo or mono audio for radio, television, cable and satellite broadcasts at the studio, transmitter, uplink/downlink sites and more. The DAPD-01 can also be used to provide status inputs to the Davicom MAC remote monitoring & control unit.
Museums, theme parks, public transportation facilities
The DAPD-01 will monitor unattended audio feeds, such as background music or automated announcements, and will automatically switch to a back-up source if the audio is lost. A "time-out" setting of up to five minutes keeps the unit from switching during normal gaps in audio.
