MAC8 TO MAC32 EXPANSION





In order to expand your MAC8 to a MAC32, you need to add the following hardware to the 1st stage of your MAC unit:

  • One signal conditioning card
  • One relay card
  • One analog to digital converter

You also need to add a 2nd stage:

  • One 2nd stage assembly which includes the chassis, two signal conditioning cards, two relay cards and one slave controller card;
  • Two 4RU side panels;
  • One 4RU front panel;
  • Set of fastening screws;
  • One vertical expansion bus connector card;
  • Two 5-wire ribbon cables;
  • One 4-wire dual ribbon cable (for older MAC front panels); and
  • One 6A fuse (to replace the 3A fuse)

All these items form one MAC Expansion Kit (MEXPK) and two MAC Conditioning Card Kits (MCCK).
