COMMUNICATIONS SOFTWARE
The new MacComm user-customizable interface allows you to give your Davicom MAC system a personalized look reflecting the exact setup of the equipment installed at the site.
The main features and functionalities for the new MacComm software are:
- Graphics editor to create workspaces for each transmitter site defined in the dial directory;
- In each workspace, create multiple view panels (for your main and for your backup for example) to show the information you want, the way you want;
- View panels can reflect the exact setup of the equipment installed at the site (diagrams or even bitmap photos);
- Display the Site Name, Site ID, Input/Output Name and current status in any view panel;
- Do a print screen of each view panel;
- Multiple MacComms can be opened at the same time on the PC, to communicate with different MAC units;
- Connect/Disconnect and Logon/Logoff icons;
- Toggle Edit Toolbar (select, add meter, add status box, add status LED, add text box, add frame box); and
- Toggle Command Toolbar (enable/disable alarm calls, start battery test, activate/cancel pause and local modes, enable/disable inputs, pulse/force/release relays, send/delete/view history log, capture system status1 and reset SNMP command traps2);
- View I/O lines of a SuperMAC;
- Support for all features of MAC, MAC+ and MAC2 Units.
1 MacNet software required.
2 MAC Firmware 4.20 required.

All newer versions of MacComm software are backwards compatible with older MAC Units & firmwares.
