The AC Current Sensor (Split-core) provides an analog DC Voltage output which is proportional to the AC current of the wire passing through it's core. It is of the clamp-on type and therefore does not require disconnecting of the AC Power Source. It is normally used to monitor AC line current in electrical or transmission installations.
