This Power Supply is a 2RU rack-mount power supply providing 12 VDC at 3.5 A output for MAC units. It is available for countries using 220-240 VAC 50/60 Hz mains.
The power supply comes with an internal 4 Ah sealed lead/acid battery to power the MAC units in the event of mains failure.
The power supply is protected against power surges with a 2 A fuse fitted in the IEC inlet housing. Two additional fuses (5 and 6.3 A), located on the rear panel for ease of maintenance, protect the charger board and protect against battery reverse polarity.
Three LEDs on the front panel indicate the presence of mains power, battery reverse polarity and a bi-colour indicating charger over voltage (possibly due to component failure) and under voltage (possibly due to mains failure, battery in deep discharge or charger failure).
