The Temperature Sensor TS4085 is well suited for the MAC units. It can monitor transmission site equipment temperature, indoor temperature for HVAC performance and outdoor temperature for icing conditions and HVAC efficiency.
Measurement accuracy: ±1.8ºF (±1ºC) for temperatures between ‑40ºF and +185ºF (‑40ºC and +85ºC). The output voltage can be easily converted to either ºF or ºC using the following formulas:
T (ºF) = [(V0 - 1.25) x 180] + 32
T (ºC) = (V0 - 1.25) x 100
The sensor's operating voltage range is 6 to 15 VDC. It features low self-heating, linear +18 mV/ºF (+10 mV/ºC) scale factor, less than 100 µA drain current at 15 VDC, and low impedance output.
The sensor comes in two versions. The Model TS4085-I for indoor use (picture above) and the TS4085-O outdoor version (picture below) which has a weatherproof housing.
